After completion of the rear end. Those are the same shocks too!! Disregard the rear pegs, they were only being used as temps at the time and have been replaced with the proper parts.

One of the worst parts of the bike when I got it was the motor. It had been painted BLACK! That was a nightmare job to make it look like it does now. I wanted to ride this bike when it was done so I opted to use Cheng Shin Hi-Max tires. They work much better than the Dunlop vintage Qualifiers that I could have used. Technically, this bike was a USA version that came with Goodyear Eagle A/T raised letter tires from the factory. So, unless I wanted used tires, I was out of luck for that part of the stock look anyway.

 

 

 

A friend of mine in Louisiana (Gary Ermatinger) restored the gas tank. It came out like you would not believe!!!
