A period correct Yoshimura tip was sectioned to a MAC front header to give a cool vintage racing look and a great sound. These are almost impossible to get and this one even has the original baffle!!!
I custom made a aluminum mount for the exhaust with a T6 spacer and some aluminum 3/8 inch dowel.
Yamaha R1 rear sets were adapted to send the pegs back and up to a more roadrace type angle and give a great sporty look. The original Brembo rear master cylinder was mated with the F3 rear caliper to make the rear brakes complete.
One of the coolest additions to any street fighter is a cool headlight. Bigger is better, so I used a Suzuki GS1100E '83 headlight. Also called a Freight Train headlight these where an enormous 8 1/2 inch beam, so they look great on a set of sport bike forks and really complete the front. I simply used a set of universal chrome headlight ears to mount and used a set of aluminum mini signals to mount the parts together.
The front gauges used were a combination of CB900F with a added 140 mph speedo pulled from a '79 CB750F (the only year to have a higher than 85mph gauge). Of course the CB1100F originally came with a small fairing and a different gauge set, but no respectable street fighter can have a FAIRING!!! The brake master cylinder is made by Shindy and is a remote reservour type. Basicly the same type used on the 90's GSXR Suzuki's.
