I went to the track for the first time, with the new engine, just for an excuse to go fast. The bike did a torque wheelie full-up about mid track (had to let off) at about 100mph on one of the passes! The best run of the night was 10.52 @ 134 mph (the wheelie run was 10.80 @ 131 mph). It was pretty hard to keep the front end down. I will have some new numbers after this weekend as I will be installing a set of struts and wheely-bars for the bikes next runs at IRP (Indianapolis Raceway Park). The extra parts are going to be used for the track ONLY, I would never get rid of the shocks for the street use.
OK... you waited long enough the bike ran a 10.21 @ 136mph . I am VERY confident of 9's , but I will need to wait until next year to find out. Running the bars meant a whole new launch . I made 5 runs and only two with the proper retard on the ignition so I am sure with a few more runs under my belt we could see 9.99 or better.
